Crytek may have made improvements to the character models over the past several months in regards to the upcoming Xbox One exclusive video game, “Ryse: Son of Rome.” A screen that was released for the action-adventure title last month showcased the same sequence that previously appeared in an image featuring an older build back in July. You can compare the two screens, along with other shots from the software product, in the slideshow to the left of this article.
Compared to the older image, the new screen features better face models and lighting effects. While the character appears to be emotionless in the old build, the same individuals seem to be more expressive in the newer version of “Ryse: Son of Rome.”
Cevat Yerli previously confirmed that the development team at Crytek had to downgrade the resolution and character models in order to add more shaders and other visual effects.
“Ryse: Son of Rome” will be released on Nov. 22 for the Xbox One.
