Left wing Ryane Clowe will make his first appearance in the Devils' lineup since Oct. 13 when the New Jersey Devils host the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight in Newark.

Clowe, returning from a concussion, has appeared in just six contests in his first season with the Devils and will be playing on the third line along with Andrei Loktionov and Stephen Gionta later this evening.

Prior to the concussion, Clowe had just one point and a plus/minus rating of -5.

Ryan Carter, Jacob Josefson and Cam Janssen were the extra forwards at this mornings skate.

Martin Brodeur will also be in the lineup tonight and is entering the game having won four of his last five starts. His 18 saves last Saturday against the Washington Capitals was enough to tally his 69th overtime victory in his NHL career.

Tonight's meeting with the Blue Jackets will be the third of four between the two Metropolitan rivals and the first played at the Prudential Center this season. Brodeur is 7-3-2 all-time against Columbus and has one loss in his only other start against the Blue Jackets this season.

The Devils will have the opportunity to improve their 7-6-1 record within their division, by finishing out the 2013 calendar year against the Blue Jackets, Islanders and Penguins in the next five days.

Team Leaders:

Marek Zidlicky: Leads New Jersey with 7g-28a in 44 games against Columbus

Brandon Dubinsky: Leads Columbus with 12g-13a in 34 games against New Jersey, including 2 goals and 4 assists in the first two games this season.

Catch the game on MSG Plus, Sports Radio 66AM & 101.9 FM WFAN tonight at 7:00 PM.
