The American Idol Results show Thursday opened to a large excited audience that was ready to start the elimination process based on the votes received on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Over 40 million votes were counted for the American Idol show on Thursday night to decide who will be going on to the next week of the competition.
While we all were waiting and holding our breath, the show began with a somewhat awkward tribute to Ryan Seacrest. On Wednesday night Lauren insisted upon telling everyone on stage she calls Ryan ‘Peaches. Then she told everyone which she calls him Peaches. ‘Cause he’s from Georgia,’ and so is she.
Yes, the host who was called out yesterday as a resident of the great state of Georgia once again took control of the stage and the audience was ready. As Ryan Seacrest was walking down the steps, the cameras of the show looked out into the audience and captured an image of one of the signs that read ‘We Love You Peaches.’
If this wasn’t funny enough, a voice from the audience screamed out to Ryan Seacrest immediately after the crowd died down ‘We Love you Peaches.’ While the host didn’t respond, he definitely couldn’t have missed the shout out.
Lauren Alaina will be seeing Peaches again next week as she made the cut of the American Idol’s Result show. Showing off her vocals on Wednesday night, she impressed America and gave everyone a chance to hear just how strong of a performance of American Idol she could bring to the stage.
