Early this morning on Dec. 31 (about eight hours ago) “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” host Ryan Seacrest took time out from New Year’s Eve preparations to congratulate Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on their impending first child via Twitter. He said, “It's true :) @KimKardashian & @KanyeWest are having a baby! congrats u guys http://bit.ly/YEg07d”
West made the announcement to fans during his Atlantic City show on Dec. 30 and “Eonline” confirmed that Baby Mama Kardashian is 12 weeks pregnant.
Hollywoodlife.com reports that Kardashian is still legally married to Kris Humphries and they will face each other in divorce court on Feb. 2013.
This child marks the first for both Kardashian and West. Kardashian’s family couldn’t be happier, including family matriarch Kris Jenner, who is busy dodging divorce rumors that she and her husband of over twenty years, Bruce Jenner, are getting divorced.
About eight hours ago, Jenner tweeted her excitement over the baby news, saying: “I’m a happy girl !!!!!!!!! Wowza! Oh BABY BABY BABY!!”
Kimye’s baby will be Jenner’s third grandchild. Daughter Kourtney Kardashian has two children, Mason and Penelope with boyfriend Scott Disick.
Kim dispelled rumors of a split between her mom and Bruce Jenner in her blog on Dec. 28, following a family outing to sister Khloe’s husband Lamar’s Clippers game. Kim wrote, “It was funny how everyone made a big deal about Bruce and my mom not sitting together, saying it was fueling these ridiculous divorce rumors.”
Fans and celebrities alike have been tweeting their congratulations to Kim and Kanye since the news broke. "X Factor" judge Demi Lovato tweeted: "So happy for you @KimKardashian.. Love you SO much and I'm so excited to babysit!! Miss you girly.. Once again... SO happy for you!!! Xox."
Ryan Seacrest has enjoyed huge success as executive producer of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," the wildly popular reality series that tracks the busy lives of the glamorous family.
Seacrest shared his love for the entire Kardashian clan on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last month saying, "“They’re a blessing! You know I’m very close to them. They’re a blessing in so many ways.”
The future looks bright for the happy couple and their impending little one. Kim and Kanye are professed long-time best friends, prior to starting a romantic relationship. While her famous family is constantly under intense scrutiny and their share of under-the-spotlight controversy, Kim will undoubtedly have their love and support every step of the way through her pregnancy.
