American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough have split after dating for over two years. The couple has been living apart for a few weeks.
People is reporting that it was hectic work schedules that was the reason for the split. Crazy busy work schedules are something the two have talked about in the past.
Seacrest, 38 hosts American Idol, has a successful radio career and add to that the television shows he produces and it’s no wonder he one busy man. While Julianne Hough is an actress and former Dancing with the Stars pro, trying to juggle both careers and a relationship is a difficult thing to do.
Recently, Hough spoke with PARADE regarding their situation. “It’s a hard thing to do, especially when you’re so caught up in your work and bettering yourself.”
“I think at the end of the day you have to find a balance with what’s really important.”
The two of them just spent a romantic getaway in St. Bart’s after bringing in the New Year together. Hough and Seacrest also recently spent Valentine’s Day together.
The source who confirmed the split stated that her new movie career has been taking her all over the country with Seacrest calls Los Angeles his base of operations.
