Ryan Seacrest from American Idol and Chris Harrison from The Bachelorette are both hosting Red Carpet shows prior to Sunday night’s Emmy Awards. In advance, they’re all a-Twitter about their preparations. Chris Harrison even offers advice to those set to walk the red carpet tomorrow night. Here’s what Seacrest and Harrison have to say about the red carpet and TV’s most prestigious night.
Ryan Seacrest sent out these tweets about the Emmy Awards:
“Studied for HOURS yesterday for our Emmy special.”
“At the Beverly Wilshire in our production meeting for red carpet show.”

Chris Harrison, host of The Bachelor is busy making Emmy preparations for his own show that competes with Ryan Seacrest's. However, he’s not worried about his competition and even sent Seacrest a gift to wish him luck. Harrison also took time out to talk about his own Emmy Award preparations. Below are a few of his most recent Tweets:
Chris Harrison’s advice to Emmy attendees: “Do not get a facial right before.” He went on to explain, “All stars should know do not get a facial right before. A big red rash is never a good thing - especially in the day and age of HD."
“Congrats to Jeff Probst for taking home his third hosting Emmy! Now it’s just embarrassing.”
Harrison also told TV Guide, “We're preparing for 150 people and I guarantee you it's the 151st person that's going to show up. The good news is, I usually know their name, who they are and I know the show or know of the show. Having done your homework as much as you can will prepare you for the inevitable.”
Chris Harrison and Ryan Seacrest are set to host their separate live red carpet shows prior to the Emmy Awards. Chris Harrison will host TV Guide Network’s Red Carpet show that begins airing at 5 ET/2 PT. Over on E!, Ryan Seacrest hosts Live From the Red Carpet at 5 ET/2 PT.
The 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards airs live on Sunday, August 29th at 8 ET/5 PT on NBC.
