Ryan Reynolds knows how to punch out an opponent. A photographer on the Canadian set of “Queen of the Night” captured the moment recently with a still that looks realistic enough to file an assault charge. Fortunately, it wasn’t real, reports Inquisitr on Thursday, Feb. 14. The Ryan Reynolds punch was simply a scene from the action movie. No charges are contemplated.
But here is the scenario. Ryan Reynolds’ fist comes forward, and fellow actor Scott Speedman falls to the ground. There is no word on how many takes the vivid fight scene required, but the result is stunningly real.
Ryan Reynolds, 36, is currently in Sudbury, Ontario, working on a film about a man who is trying to locate his kidnapped daughter. Is she alive or is she already dead? Hints of both add to the suspense. It’s enough to drive a man crazy. The movie also stars exotic beauty Rosario Dawson, and the director is Atom Egoyan.
Ryan Reynolds may not want to spend too many months on location in another country, away from his recent bride, Blake Lively. The Canadian weather has been bitter cold. When Ryan and Blake spent a few days together on the set recently, paparazzi reported that they wore several layers of warm clothing.
The details of the film’s plot are sketchy, except that Rosario Dawson plays the detective in charge of the kidnapping case. Scott Speedman’s role, so far, is known as “the guy who gets punched by Ryan Reynolds.”
