Maker of luxury automobiles, BMW, had filed a lawsuit against Ryan Jenkins for $12,000 in car payments just days before the former reality star committed suicide in a hotel.
The action was filed on August 20 in Edmonton, Alberta.
BMW claimed that Jenkins owed the money a lease for a 2007 BMW 335xi.
According to the company, the car was turned in but the back payments were never remitted.
