Also on the show was Edwards' ex-girlfriend and the mother of his 5-year-old son Bentley, Maci Bookout. But while fans expected there to be tension as there had been on "Teen Mom," that was not the case.
"They ain't like best friends or anything, or hang out, but when we're together, all of us are together, there's no tension," Edwards said during the taping of "Being Teen Dads, according to a June 11 report by Wetpaint Entertainment. "They get along good, it makes it easier for me, too."
Also during the show, Bookout was seen discussing Woods with Edwards.
"So, how are you and Shelby doin'? Y'all went to look at a house?" she asked.
And while the "Being Teen Dads" special was shot earlier this year, Edwards and Woods are still going strong, which she recently made clear on Twitter.
"I've had such a good day with my mom shopping, cooking, and working out. I love being home but I sure do miss @ryancedwards," Woods wrote on Monday, the day after the special aired on MTV.
Unfortunately, since Edwards is currently working in Savannah, Ga., he and Woods don't get to spend as much time together as they'd like, but judging by their Twitter pages, they are making it work and completely happy with one another.
