Ryan Braun PED use rumors sparked again by new report

New Ryan Braun PED use rumors have shown up. It looks like Braun's name is on the list of PED users that a Miami-based anti-aging clinic was working with. According to a report from ESPN on Tuesday night (Feb. 5), his name is indeed on the list, but there aren't any specific performance-enhancing drugs listed along with him.

This is circumstantial evidence against Braun again and something he can easily refute in a public forum. It also isn't the first time that he has been linked to PEDs. Back in 2011, Braun had a positive test for elevated testosterone levels. It looked like he was going to face a 50-game suspension for the failed test, but he appealed the way the sample had been handled and ended up winning that appeal.

Now Braun is showing up on a list of many other Major League Baseball players who have allegedly used a Miami facility to either acquire or use performance-enhancing drugs. Other players that have been reported as being on that list are New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Melky Cabrera, and Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz.

It seems like a pretty big red flag that more Ryan Braun PED rumors have popped up. It could turn out that he is 100 percent innocent in these latest allegations, but there is that old saying that when there is this much smoke, there is bound to be fire nearby. As MLB begins its own investigation into this matter, Milwaukee Brewers fans might want to prepare themselves for bad news. Just in case.
