In a move timed to coincide almost perfectly with the first day of Spring, Memphis, Tenn.-based RVC Outdoor Destinations, today announced the grand opening of AdventureWorks -- a 12 zip adventure course -- at its chic Catherine’s Landing, Hot Springs, Arkansas-based resort. RVC’s delightfully manicured outdoor destinations -- in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas -- include a mix of competitively priced lodging options, from yurts and cabins to cottages and Recreational Vehicle sites.

With average March temperatures hitting a comfortable 50 degrees Fahrenheit, the new AdventureWorks zip line attraction -- which officially opens March 29th -- promises to provide resort guests with a memorable vacation experience. “As we continue to expand our guest offerings at RVC properties throughout the United States, we’re pleased to offer a world-class adventure park that includes 12 zip lines, a sky bridge, and an incredible aerial experience,” said Andy Cates, CEO and General Partner of RVC Outdoor Destinations.

The addition of another major tourist attraction to the Hot Springs region is icing on the cake for RVers who already flock to the Ouachita Mountain area of Arkansas, lured by the varied outdoor recreational pursuits -- from golf and horse riding to off roading and boating -- as well as the opportunity to explore a historic spa town (and national park) that was once the favored vacation destination of gangsters like Lucky Luciano, Al Capone and their molls.

Whilst the new regional attraction is open to the public, RVC’s Catherine’s Landing guests will receive special pricing to the zip line experience. The AdventureWorks tour takes about an hour and a half and incorporates 12 zip lines as well as a Sky Bridge with observation deck.

“AdventureWorks is happy to be a part of the RVC movement and excited to add another major tourist attraction to the Hot Springs, Arkansas area,” said Jennifer Halverson, President of Adventure Works.
