RVA on Ice has skating, music, crafts and more

The RVA on Ice is a great place to have fun skating and enjoying the holiday season. Now there are more reasons to take advantage of RVA on Ice.

Holiday music is always in the air and there are extended hours at the ice rink on some days. Check out the schedule

  1. Wednesday-Friday, 4pm – 10 pm
  2. Saturday 10 am – 10 pm
  3. Sunday 10 am – 6 pm.

Located between 6th and 7th streets, it's a beautiful rink of glistening ice and both novice and incredible skaters.

And now, organizers have selected classics, animation and family holiday favorite movies for skaters to enjoy on 25 square foot movie screen as they circle the rink.  Movies are scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM on specific nights noted below.

In addition to the holiday movies, FREE arts and crafts sessions will be offered by Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities’ Office of Cultural Arts Programs on Saturdays Noon – 2 p. m.  Participants are also invited to purchase various snacks and beverages including coffee, hot chocolate and ingredients to make s’mores while warming up by the bon fire.
