The Russian music site Open Music (and Russian Beatles site Beatles Ru) report Ringo Starr and the All-Starr Band will perform June 4 at Palace Ukraine in Kiev. (The site doesn't list Ringo as of yet.) According to the report, tickets go on sale next week. This is the latest unofficial addition to the tour, which also will reportedly cover England, France, Denmark, Italy and Sweden.
In addition, the Russian news service Rianovosti is reporting a monument to the Beatles will be erected in the Siberian city of Tomsk. The statue, which reportedly cost 6 million rubles (roughly $212,000 in U.S. dollars) will feature the Beatles as seen on the cover of the "Abbey Road" album.
