(Updated 10/5) October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Santa Rosa's Russian River Brewing Company is doing their part to raise some money as well as awareness.
First, make sure to check their music calendar. This is a big part of the month as the bands promote breast cancer awareness and help them raise money when they play. While watching the band, order up an Aud Blonde and 5% of the sales go towards the fund raiser.
If you're looking for a bigger way to contribute to the cause, grab an "All Hopped Up for the Cure" T-Shirt and baseball hat. All proceeds from the shirt and hat sales will go to breast cancer.
The biggest fund raiser of the month is the raffle for the pink scooter co-sponsored between Russian River and Revolution Moto. Tickets are on sale all month with the raffle being held on October 31st at Russian River's big Halloween Party. You can get tickets for $10 napiece of 3 for $25.
All money goes to the Sutter Breast Care Center here in Santa Rosa. Now get into Russian River and let's raise some money.
