Russian Army General suggest the US planning on attacking Iran this summer

It was a rather sobering statement by the Chief of Staff of the Russian Army. One that caused silence in the room where he was speaking: “A military attack on Iran might happen as early as this summer”, says General Nikolai Makarov, who warned today on the channel Russia Today.

AN ACT OF WAR!

When referring to Iranians nuclear program, Makarov noted that the West, especially the military establishments in Washington and Tel Aviv, are preparing an “act of war” against the Persian country in April or no later than June this year.

The United States military maintains a large concentration of naval forces in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, according to a secret Russian Foreign intelligence reports. SVR intelligence officials refused to confirm the reports publically, but off the record suggest that the U.S. is preparing to start another war in the Gulf. “This is obvious for anyone to see. The US has two aircraft carriers battle groups along with destroyers, missile frigates, submarines and are preparing for war”, the official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

The Russians consider the US the single largest threat to world peace. “No nation on earth has started more wars than the US, who has been at continuous war for over 10 years. It is very serious situation”, said one SVR official.

At the same time the war rhetoric coming from Congressional officials has been increasing. This while Tel Aviv now accuses Iran of being behind the alleged attempts to organize attacks on Israeli embassies in New Delhi and Tbilisi.

The Russian military considered that a pre-emptive military strike against Iran could spread throughout the Middle East with a domino like effect and what they call “unpredictable consequences”, with the possibility of quickly becoming a world war...

IRAN WON’T START WAR

US Defense Intelligence Agency Director Lieutenant General Ronald Burgess stated in Washington, DC, “an attack launched by Iran is unlikely”, unless, of course, the US strikes first. Then all bets are off!

Geberal Burgess also added that, despite increased sanctions imposed by the US and a rather massive and unpresidented “build up of American military forces surrounding the country”, Iran is unlikely to halt its nuclear program that has become the cause of international concern.

The US have not “officially confirmed” that they intend to attack Iran, but have made plans for a massive military exercise in conjuction with Israel scheduled for later in 2012. It is intended as a show of force which will be conducted just off the coast of Iran, in a move to intimidate and provoke the Iranians.

The move will see the transport of thousands of US troops to Israel, where they will be close to thousands of other Americans stationed in nearby Gulf nations.

“The general consensus is that US may attack Syria first, under the guise of stopping the violence against civilians in that country - before attacking  Iran via pre-emptive bombing raids against military and civilian targets”, says Jim Anders of Charlotte, a military specialist who is monitoring the continued buildup of US forces in the Gulf region. “We certainly seem to be drifting to war in the Middle East. It’s regretable and may wind up bankrupting the country”, he said.

For years the United States has been planning for war with Iran – this is all according to “The Plan” (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXS3vW47mOE ).

“Iran is one of seven countries that Pentagon officials have specifically targeted for regime change”, said one Pentagon insider speaking on the condition of anonymity. I think General Clark is right but I am not allowed to speak about it. I could get in serious trouble for even admitting it”, he said.
