Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe was irritated by an article in an Australian newspaper entitled "Smokes and fatty foods -- the fitness regime for Rusty." Crowe was recently photographed eating three tacos, chugging a soft drink and smoking a cigarette during a break while cycling. Sydney Daily Telgraph writer, Annette Sharp, wrote the heckling article, thus sparking a challenge between the two. The next day, Crowe challenged Sharp to a 12 mile ride through the city, in which Crowe out-cycled her all over town. At one point, Sharp even falls off her bike, while Crowe zooms through the 12 miles unphased. Sharp reports that Crowe proves to be in excellent shape and a gentleman, after stopping to check on her after her accident. MORE ARTICLES:

Russell Crowe is one of my all-time favorite screen actors, he's got some brass in his character, and this episode reminds me of a famous SNL skit with John Belushi, spokesman for 'Little Chocolate Doughnuts'. Way to go, Russell Crowe!
