Russ Taff concert at 3rd & Lindsley on Jan. 22

In October 2012, this column carried the news that one of Christian music's legendary recording artists, Russ Taff, would be performing at Nashville's 3rd & Lindsley venue. The packed-out concert was a huge success.

Now back by demand, Russ Taff is going to bring The Alternators and his longtime friend, guitarist & Grammy award winning writer & producer James Hollihan, Jr., back to 3rd & Lindsley to do it again on Jan. 22, 2013 at 8 pm. Taff will be performing hits from his library of albums including "Walls of Glass" and "The Way Home." 2013 is the 30th anniversary of Taff's Grammy Award winning album "Walls of Glass," considered by many to be one of the top CCM albums of all time.

Taff first came to national attention as the lead vocalist for The Imperials. He is also recognized for his time with the Gaither Vocal Band as well as for his own stellar solo career. Taff is known for songs like "Praise The Lord" and the 1980s anthem "We Will Stand."

The last Russ Taff event in Nashville was a packed house, so this show is expected to be a sell out with no comp seats or guest list.

Tickets to see Russ Taff and The Alternators with James Hollihan, Jr. are $15 in advance through
www.3rdandlindsley.com. If any seats are left the day of the show, they will be $20 at the door. 3rd & Lindsley offers food and live music seven nights a week.
