You may have noticed a new hotel springing up over the past 18 months at Universal Orlando Resort. That hotel, the Cabana Bay Resort, opened to the public on March 31, and project director Russ Dagon was on hand for the big day. Click the video accompanying this article to hear him talk about how this massive project came to fruition.
Cabana Bay Resort brings many new things to the Universal on-site hotel scene. It's the first moderately priced property, and also the first to feature its own bowling alley. Each of the on-site hotels has its own theme, and Cabana Bay Resort is unique with its 1950s/1960s charm that extends down to classically packaged Zest soap and V05 shampoo and creme rinse toiletries.
