Rush fans eager to get their hands on the band's upcoming live set 'Clockwork Angels Tour' can check out a newly released trailer.
Posting on Oct. 4 to their official website at Rush.com, the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have unveiled a 1:41 promotional video of the concert film, which will be released simultaneously Nov. 19 on CD and Blu-ray/DVD.
The video clip features live and backstage shots of the legendary Canuck trio, as well as the Clockwork Angel String Ensemble, brief interview snippets about the tour and a sampling of the music.
The DVD/Blu-ray will contain three hours of concert footage from shows filmed during the Toronto power trio's hugely successful 2012 Clockwork Angels tour on Nov. 28 in Dallas, Texas at American Airlines Centre.
The tour marked the first time Rush tour with additional musicians, employing a string section for performances of songs like "Headlong Flight," "YYZ," "Red Sector A".
The DVD/Blu-ray versions of the new release will feature a 25-minute tour documentary "Can't Stop Thinking Big," which includes interviews with Rush and behind the scenes footage and also includes feature comedy short films created for the tour, interviews and outtakes from their filming.
Bonus material includes additional filmed sketches and a rare soundcheck performance of "Limelight."
'Clockwork Angels Tour' is currently available for pre-order at Amazon.
