Rush fans foaming at the mouth in anticipation of the legendary Canuck prog-rocker's upcoming 40th anniversary vinyl boxset reissue of the band's classic 1974 self-titled debut album can get a sneak peek via a newly posted video.

Posting an update on March 28 to their official Facebook page, the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees give fans a visual and audio taste of the multiple goodies the reissue, titled ‘Rush ReDISCovered," contains in a 43-second teaser clip.

Bonus features include the original art jacket, a rare reproduction of the original 1974 Canadian retail poster, individual Moon Records publicity 5x7 photos of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and original drummer John Rutsey, as well as a 12x12 Rush Family Tree poster, and a digital download card for a free digital copy of the remastered album.

Re-mastered at Abbey Road studios by engineer Sean McGee, who has been responsible for the recent Beatles vinyl re-masters, the album comes in a high quality 12x12 box and is pressed on audiophile 200 gram vinyl.

The reissue will be released April 15 and is available for pre-order.

See Rush.com for more details.

Did you know? Rush's 1974 debut album spawned the iconic Canadian power trio's first singles "In the Mood" and "Finding My Way," as well as their live show staple "Working Man" and was last remastered in 1997.
