According to Canadian news website The Globe and Mail, in anticipation of the 40th anniversary of legendary prog-rock band Rush's eponymous album there is an anniversary edition in the works. There are no details on what this release will have, but a remastering of the songs with linear notes can almost certainly be expected. Possibly demo tracks and other goodies for the Rush enthusiasts would be ideal as well. In edition to this release anticipation, The Pulse of Radio is reporting that the 20th album Rush released back in 2012 Clockwork Angels, will be made into comic book. It's set to be a six issue series published by Boom! Studios beginning in March 2014, and will be collaborated on by the band and Kevin J Anderson who wrote a science fiction novel based on the album. With all these exciting things coming out from the band, we can only hope that they re-enter the studio soon as well and provide some new music to tantalize our brains with!
