Rush Limbaugh predicts Republican sweep in midterm elections

National radio host and conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh made the firm conviction on Wednesday that this year’s midterm elections will be "a wave election like 2010."

Limbaugh pointed out on his Wednesday talk show there is the opportunity to take the Senate and gain House seats citing retirements by the Democrats including veterans such as Henry Waxman (D-CA) in the House.

His reasoning centers of the failed Obamacare roll-out and its aftermath that is engulfing the nation in anger.

As Limbaugh put it, “They're in the swan's song portion of their lives anyway. Waxman, he doesn't want to be a member of a minority in the House of Representatives, where basically all they're doing is writing executive orders for President Barack Obama. These people don't want to be in the minority. It's no fun."

Then he made his forthright prediction:

"I'm gonna go out on a limb here, I fully expect the 2014 midterms to be a wave election like 2010. I think the people of this country are gonna sweep Democrats out of office every chance they get, every opportunity they get."

Limbaugh believes the American people are sick of the “steamroller tactics” of the White House' the legislative and judicial branches.

As Limbaugh put it, "I think this is setting up every bit as big as 2010, if not bigger. The tea party, the American people are livid by what's going on. They can't believe the people whose power is being stolen are not standing up and trying to get it back."

Limbaugh was spot on with his 2010 midterm predictions.

It seems he has not lost his zeal.
