Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, joke about and slam Al Gore over massage sex assault scandal
Talk show host Michael Savage called Al Gore a “depraved sex poodle,” for allegedly groping and French kissing a masseuse.
Savage suggested that the Al Gore massage story was a deliberate distraction from troubles President Obama is going through now over the BP oil spill and the McChrystal Rolling Stone controversy.
“They throw a sex story in your face, the same way they did when Clinton was in trouble, they threw the Lewinsky sex scandal in your face,” Savage said. “That was to save Clinton from his real scandals, including his deals with China.”
Savage asked, “It’s not shocking that Al Gore is a crazed sex poodle, who else could come up with the story of Global warming?”
Savage called Gore’s alleged tryst “disgusting.”
“The guy is off the beam,” he said.
Savage said it was disgusting that Gore would try to French kiss the “old masseuse” and Savage noted his disgust over Gore’s public lingering French kiss on stage with his wife Tipper Gore during the 2000 Democratic Convention.
Meanwhile, Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh began his show on Thursday, June 24, by weighing in on the scandal.
Gore is accused of sexually assaulting a female massage therapist in his Portland, Oregon, hotel room in 2006. The masseuse says Gore groped her, forced an open mouth kiss on her, and forced her hand to his crotch and penis. KATU reports in the video below that Portland Police have been under criticism over its handling of sex crimes cases and questions are being raised over whether more could have been done to investigate the allegations against Al Gore.

Limbaugh told listeners that he was asked why he hadn't talked about the Al Gore massage sex assault scandal.
Limbaugh said, "How do you massage a wooden object? The guy is a tree."
The talk show host added, "The 2000 election had more of an impact then we thought it did. He lost his mind and his pants."
The Rush Limbaugh show is broadcast locally on KSFO AM 560 9 a.m. - Noon.
On the other side of the political spectrum, progressive radio talk show host Thom Hartman noted that the Gore scandal was headline news in Portland, Oregon, where his show originates. Hartman said he was concerned the right wing would use the Gore scandal in the same way it used the Bill Clinton Monica Lewinsky scandal.
"See, he lied about sex and he lied about other things," said Hartman mocking what he said those on the right would ask. Hartman said conservatives with then go on to use the sex scandal to attack Gore on global warming and issues.
The Thom Hartman show is broadcast locally in the San Francisco Bay Area on Oakland-based Green 960, KKGN 960 AM, 9 a.m. - noon, directly opposite the Rush Limbaugh show.
Aside from the quips in his opening monologue, Rush Limbaugh did not spend much time talking about the Al Gore sex scandal, instead Limbaugh spent most of his program talking about President Obama's handling of the Rolling Stone Stanley McChrystal controversy.
