It’s something about President Obama and spending cuts, which is generating this humiliation.
Blah, blah, and who cares?
No shame for slavery, McCarthyism or putting Japanese-Americans in interment camps.
Apparently no infamy in racism or a codified system of discrimination that lasted for more than a century.
It’s all laughs about the European Jews who were turned away and forced to return to Hitler’s war.
Oh Rush, this column understands that your embarrassment extends to the nation writ large, and not your own actions.
Because drug abuse, addiction and sending your maid to cop Oxycontin for you is really shameful. Ditto for being a chicken hawk- demanding war when you never served.
Oh, the four- is it four wives- and the decades of verbal vomit that has erupted from your studio is extremely humiliating.
Rush, it is clear that you don’t understand anything, except how your demographic thinks. You haven’t grasped the fundamentals of Congress. Or feminism. Or how birth control pills work. Even middle school students are aware that the dosage is one a day not every time a woman has sex.
And Rush, many folks who are morbidly obese, feel the indignity of how society treats them. Not you. You tore into Michelle Obama for even suggesting that our citizens make better food choices and move more. She did not say that all high caloric victuals must be banned and everyone over 21 has been signed up to compete in a marathon. No, baby steps toward better health.
God love you- because someone has to…oh wait, there is wife number four.
Not many fat men would make fun of basic nutrition suggestions. But there you are, demanding the country become obese right along side you. Well, close by your side, because, you know, the extra adipose prohibits others from getting within a few feet of you.
This is the greatest democracy history has ever known. Right now the Congress is collectively insane and ineffective. The previous President’s election was dubious, to be polite. Our judicial system is creating a duality of prosecution and is sanctioning some mass killings.
But people can protest. Folks, like you Rush Limbaugh, can spew hate and lies about a sitting President every day, wish for his failure and remain out of prison.
People enjoy freedom of speech and the right to a speedy trial. Not Bradley Manning but other folks.
God Bless America. What is wrong can be made right.
As Richard Nixon would say: America, love it or leave it.
p.s. This column would have included a video of Rush's most current rant and screed. But let's just say there isn't enough Oxycontin in the world to ameliorate that.
