Rush Limbaugh in hospital for chest pains
Rush Limbaugh was taken to the hospital after suffering from chest pains while on vacation in Hawaii 12-30-09. The conservative talk show host is resting comfortably in the hospital according to his radio program.
Limbaugh was addicted to prescription narcotic painkillers a few years back, and was under investigation in "October 2003, when police discovered records of Rush Limbaugh illegally purchasing tens of thousands of narcotics," said Drug Policy.org back then.
Limbaugh was arrested for the drug purchases, and in a plea deal, paid a $30,000 fine according to Huliq News.
Rush Limbaugh did admit to his narcotic addiction, and eventually entered treatment to kick his habit.
The question now is, did those years of drug addiction affect Limbaugh, and is the reason behind his recent hospitalization? That possiblity does exist. Fact is, narcotic's addiction can also mask problems because the person is in no pain. The body's warning mechanism, pain, is basically shut down.
There is also the possibility of Rush relapsing, and the abuse on the body narcotics can inflict may be related to his current situation. In either scenario, Limbaugh may now be experiencing the effects of prior drug addiction, and it's now catching up with him, depending on how much harm he may have done to himself.
Hopefully, it isn't anything serious, and he comes out of this without any problems. But the fact remains that Rush Limbaugh had a very serious addiction to prescription narcotics, and it wasn't that long ago.

Rush Limbaugh in Fox interview about his addiction

Comments
Bad things happen to bad people and drug addicts.
Perhaps his current affliction s due to the facts that he's long been a grossly obese monger of fear and hatred, a completely soulless, evil scumbag. That could be a contributng factor, could it not?
To best day ever:
Yes they do, but I am trying to help drug addicts not have bad things happen to them by getting them to seek help.
Bad things do happen to bad people sometimes...but hey...no judgement here!
His so-called heart attack was just a publicity
stunt. Rush has no heart.
