Rush Limbaugh has ‘certified black’ talk ‘hood’ to Obama (Audio)

Today Rush Limbaugh used one of his African-American staffers as the “official black criticizer” of President Obama.  Limbaugh took issue with President Obama’s recent defense of his immigration enforcement policy.  In his recent remarks President Obama called on the Republicans in Congress to take immigration reform seriously, and accused them of not being satisfied no matter what enforcement measures he takes.  Rather than debate the factual matters of the issue, Limbaugh proceeds to bring on Bo Snerdley, who gives the official “certified black” response to Obama.

In Snerdley’s first response he presents a fairly standard list of conservative talking points on the immigration issue.  It is Snerdley’s second version that is likely to draw some raised eyebrows.  Snerdley goes on to present the same argument for the “brothers in the hood.”  Snerdley started then using a thick dialect which starts off with ‘Yea!  What up my hommies?”  Snerdley goes on to ask Obama if he is going to see his “bootylicious homegirl Michelle” down to the border along with “two shorties to party down there for the weekend.”  Snerdley also accuses TSA agents of “feeling up” 3 year-olds like “they up on some kind of booty call.”

In the past Limbaugh has taken some heat for similar stories he has either “doubled down” on his criticism or claimed that he was just “tweaking” the media in order to raise his ratings.  At this point it is not clear what Limbaugh plans to do with this controversy.

As for the factual claims in Limbaugh’s segment, violence along the border has actually gone down under President Obama despite the hyped stories of heads being chopped off across the border in Mexico.  According to reports from the ground the border fence is nearly completeDeportations of criminals has actually gone up over 70% under President Obama, and the number of border patrols agents has more than doubled since 2004.  Many of those agents were also added under President Obama.
