Is Rush Limbaugh dead? No, apparently he is just fine, but that hasn't stopped the latest Twitter death hoax from running wild on Twitter Thursday afternoon. While it’s happened to Bill Cosby, Jon Bon Jovi and other celebrities, it appears the radio show host and political celebrity is combating his own death as well.
Trending around the world, the hashtag “#RIPRushLimbaugh” has set Twitter on fire with condolences and jokes. Some folks realize that Limbaugh isn’t dead and others really do (which is obvious by the responses.)
One of the biggest enemies of social media for stars has to be the Twitter death hoaxes. Unable to control the inaccurate information and left just watching as the world continues to discuss the no-so-dead star it is definitely frustrating.
The latest Rush Limbaugh death hoax is just another reminder that Twitter is a place where anyone can spread a rumor without any repercussions. The death hoaxes are particularly disappointing as the information is cruelly presented to render a response.
