Rush Limbaugh: Arrest of Democrats part of a Democratic conspiracy

During the March 27, 2014 broadcast of his radio show, Rush Limbaugh commented on the recent major public corruption probe which resulted in several arrests, including that of California State Sen. Leland Yee and Charlotte, North Carolina Mayor Patrick Cannon.

A third FBI raid was held at New York Assemblyman William Scarborough's offices, who later told reporters that FBI asked questions about per diem reimbursements he received during his service in the state legislature.

According to Limbaugh, the FBI investigations into Democratic officials and subsequent arrests were likely part of a conspiracy by Democrats to "purge" the party before the November midterm elections.

"It is entirely possible that what is going on here is that the head honchos of the Democrat party [sic] are basically behind an effort to take out all of their bad apples before the election, make them old news by the time the election comes around," said Limbaugh. "The timing here is obviously curious and it really is hard to believe the FBI would be working against the wishes of the regime. Isn't it?"

This proves once and for all that there is literally nothing in the world that the right wing infotainment complex will not somehow distort into the grounds for a ridiculous conspiracy theory.

Leave it to Limbaugh to suggest that the arrest of Democrats was perpetuated by Democrats in order to benefit Democrats.
