Rush are holding down top spot among Ultimate Classic Rock Awards 2014 nominees.
According to an update posted Jan. 23 at UltimateClassicRock.com, the legendary Canuck rockers currently rank first place in three top categories and hold second place in another, edging out runner up rock luminaries Paul McCartney and Fleetwood Mac.
The 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees are in No. 1 spot for Tour of the Year (Clockwork Angels Tour), Live Album (‘Clockwork Angels Tour’), Song of the Year (‘The Garden’) and holding down second spot for DVD of the Year ('Clockwork Angels Tour') behind Aerosmith's 'Rock for the Rising Sun."
The Toronto power trio are vying in a number of categories with other rock icons, including: David Bowie, Kiss, The Who, The Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath.

Voting ends Feb. 11.
The veteran Canuck prog-rockers released a live DVD/Blu-ray/CD last month, titled "Rush: Clockwork Angels Tour," which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Music Video chart for the week of Dec. 7 and will release a new comic book series based on the legendary their critically acclaimed concept album "Clockwork Angels," which will hit shelves in March.
Did you know? Rush has received seven Grammy award nominations, won several Junos Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, but they have never won a Grammy Award.
