Rush confirmed as headliner at Festival d’ete in Quebec City

Rush has been announced among the early headliners to perform at Festival d’ete in Quebec City, QC.

According to a news release posted yesterday at Rush.com, the legendary Canuck prog-rockers will bring their Clockwork Angels Tour to the festival on July 10.

Touring in continued support of their critically acclaimed 20th studio album, the Toronto power trio will be playing the Bell Stage on the Plains of Abraham.

Rush last played the popular festival in 2010.

The festival runs July 4-14 and 75,000 passes will go on sale today at infofestival.com.

Earlier this week, Rush confirmed a second show on July 14 in Halifax, NS at Metro Dome, after the initial July 12 date sold out within minutes and also announced a headline appearance on July 8 at Ottawa Bluesfest.

Other Canadian stops include: July 6 in at Hamilton, ON at Copps Coliseum, July 24 in Calgary, AB at Scotiabank Saddledome and July 26 in Vancouver, BC at Rogers Arena.

Rush’s 2013 North American trek kicks off on April 23 in Austin, Texas at Frank Erwin Center.
