Rush will be among the headliners for this year’s newly announced Ottawa Bluesfest line-up.
According to an article posted today by OttawaCitzen.com, the legendary Canuck power trio will be headlining the festival on Monday, July 8.
Running from July 4 - July 14 at LeBreton Flats Park, this year’s line-up has an eclectic line-up with something to appeal to all ages and music tastes.
Acts include: B.B. King, Dixie Chicks, Weezer, Zac Brown Band, Eric Burdon, Los Lobos, Mitch Ryder, Wu-Tang Clan, Passion Pit, Animal Collective, Belle & Sebastian, as well as Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.
Canadian talent is well represented with alt-rockers, The Tragically Hip, indie rockers Stars, celtic rockers Great Big Sea, alt-folkies Tegan and Sara, punk rockers Marianas Trench and D.J. Skrillex’s Full Flex Express Tour.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow and will available at www.capitoltickets.ca with early bird pricing available until March 1 as follows:
Full Festival Adult – $195 Early-Bird ($249 Regular)
Full Festival Youth – $99 Early-Bird, ($199 Regular)
Also available this year will be three-show passes ($99) and five-show passes ($149).
