Russell Crowe is a believer, and tweeted on March 5 about UFOs flying over his office building in Woolloomooloo, Australia, according to OMG Yahoo! Crowe located the UFO on a camera that was set up to capture images of fruit bats in the botanical gardens near his office.
“UFO? Time Lapse Photos Outside RC's Woolloomooloo Office (THESE ARE REAL!)”
He linked his tweets to a YouTube video of the camera shots that was posted by a user named ParallelUniverse1234.
Some of Crowe’s followers were skeptical and didn’t take his posts very seriously, making jokes about his photos.
Crowe defended his belief vigorously, denying the suggestion that it could be just a flash from a camera lens, and stating that it was moving far too fast to be a “yacht” as another tweet suggested, since the cameras were aimed at the wharf where many yachts are moored.
When he was asked to post the original photos, Crowe snarkily tweeted, “That is the original photo's (sic) you egg beater.”
Followers continued to tease Crowe, who did not respond further.
What do you think – was it a UFO, or is Russell Crowe a bit confused?
