RuPaul comes to San Francisco to sign copies of her new CD, Glamazon

RuPaul, the hit recording artist, television star, and author, will be signing copies of her new album, Glamazon, at Amoeba San Francisco (1855 Haight Street) this weekend on Saturday, June 11th. Purchase Glamazon at the store and receive a pass to attend this special signing event (space is limited - while they last). The CD signing begins at 2pm.

Saturday event details:

  • Must have your signing ticket with receipt for signing line admission (not able to replace lost tickets)
  • Amoeba will have a photographer taking photos of each person at the signing table (no personal cameras in the signing line please). Photos will be posted on amoeba.com after the event for you to download.

Glamazon is RuPaul’s 9th & latest studio album. Her debut album back in 1993 was titled Supermodel of the World and included the dance club hit Supermodel (You Better Work). She has since become the star of RuPaul’s Drag Race on Logo, and two spinoffs: Untucked and RuPaul’s Drag U.

If you happen to miss RuPaul at the event, you can still catch her on the second season of Drag U premiering June 20th on Logo. You can also catch some of the previous contestants in the city over the next few weeks. Raven, Raja and Manila Luzon will be at the Café on June 15th, and Tyra Sanchez, Jujubee, and Raven will be at the Regency Ballroom for Pride on June 26th. There’s so much drag, I can hardly contain myself!
