Yoga and running at the same time? Yes, according to certified coach Angela Ewari of Parker, CO. One technique is to incorporate Yoga breathing techniques while running.

Ewari, owner and director of Running Yogini, is a certified running coach and trained Yoga teacher.  Using an integrative approach personalized to her client’s specific training needs, Ewari focuses on “body awareness exercises and techniques…to create a model for life-long wellness and achievement.”

“I use a personable approach that is different,” states Ewari. “I focus on how to train properly, teaching correct running form along with Yoga postures and breathing techniques that reduce injuries and increase running enjoyment.

Clients always have access to me in between hands-on training sessions. Client happiness and personal service are core values of Running Yogini."

Running Yogini offers a free initial consultation.  Clients are asked to fill out a questionnaire prior to the first meeting.  Ewari evaluates health and athletic training history, goals and objectives, highlighting full commitment by both client and coach.

Melody, Excellent hub, very interesting and well written. My daughter is currently working on becoming a certified Yoga teacher. She has had some major health issues in the past few years. Since she has started yoga her health issues have subsided. She is a firm believer in yoga. And I am ever so grateful that something is working for her.

    Great job,

    Sage
