The Running from an Angel Marathon will take place on Jan 12, 2013, at Lake Mead N.R.A., outside of Las Vegas in Nevada.
The race will start at 8:00 a.m. and the limit is 8 hours. The race will be held for 50 mile run, marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5k. You can check the results of all the marathons at the official site here.
On the day of the race (Jan. 12), the weather is expected to be on a average high of 52°F and the average low of 38°F.
Since the marathon race is being run on national parklands, automobile traffic is going to be there throughout the duration of the race. Marathon runners are requested to always run on the side of the road of their respective races.
The race distances include technical shirts, finishers' medals, post race food, onsite EMS, aid stations, and a fun time.
The Running From an Angel Marathon is run completely inside the Lake Mead National Recreation Area with perfect winter desert temperatures.
All races start and finish at the Boulder Beach Special Events Beach, which has ample parking.
