Running across America for disadvantaged youth

USA Run for Youth Travel will be having a benefit dinner on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bell and Anchor Restaurant in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Please call (518)605-3905 for any additional information or concerns about reserving tickets.

This is a fund raising event for Rosalynn Frederick, who will be running across the USA this spring.

Rosalynn Frederick, educator and founder of Youth Travel Fund will be hitting the Western highways on her 3000 mile excursion of running across America to raise money for the disadvantaged youth so they too can travel around to other parts of the world and learn about different cultures as they experience and explore the world through travel.

The basic mission of the Youth Travel Fund is to enable greater numbers of low-income, rural youth to travel with their schools and youth groups to better themselves and to learn about different cultures outside of their home towns. It is a great lesson to empower the youth through leadership and community service activities that expose them to life lessons and cultural awareness. Please see the website at www.youthtravelfund.org for additional information.

The Bell and Anchor Restaurant is located at 178 Main Street in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. The benefit dinner will be serving fried chicken and salad. There will be live music and a raffle of local products/services. Tickets are $40.00 for singles and $75.00 for two. Stay tuned for additional updates and events of USA Run for Youth Travel.
