A Milwaukee video shoot invites area runners to participate in the production of a motivational film supporting a health cause for youngsters. Participants will gather Sunday, June 8, at 1 p.m. at A Gift of Wings Kite Store, located at 1300 N. Lincoln Memorial Drive, for instructions.

Area running groups are invited to join the event, along with individual runners.

Video runners are asked to consider donating $1 apiece to support the Children’s Heart Foundation, an organization that raises funds for research to prevent, diagnose and treat congenital heart defects in children.

The producer hopes to include at least 100 runners in the film.

“Runners, please help me out,” said fitness coach Rachel Moran, of The Heart Core Movement. “Several runners have had to back out at the last minute.”

“It does not matter if you are fit. The running video is motivational, to show that anyone can do it. We start at 1 pm, jogging till we get the shota … so not very long,” Moran added.

You are invited to join/”like” the Running Examiner – Milwaukee and More page on Facebook – for information, inspiration, and news for runners in our region.

Participants will be filmed, running in the park near the Lake Michigan shoreline. No measured distances are planned. The resulting video will appear on The Heart Core Movement website and other spots.

No advance signups or outfits are required. Joggers and runners who may plan to log a few miles on Sunday afternoon may simply choose to show up for the video shoot.
