Runner schools the field in Hesse Bear 5K

Carlton Angell,15, schooled the field of 212 in the Feb. 9 Hesse Bear 5K Stomp, winning the school fundraiser race in a time of 20:08.

Elias Garcia, 29, was second in 21:41, and David Turner, 47, rounded out the top three in 21:43.

Dana Teat, 30, topped the women's side and finished sixth overall with a time of 22:25. Melissa Wheeter, 23, was second in 24:36, and Anne Clayton, 43, placed third in 25:31.

Scott Winslow, 42, was first among the masters and fifth overall with a time of 22:22. Vicki Bradley, 45, took the women's title in 25:34.
