RuneScape: Tetsu helm sells on grand exchange, scimshaws crash on release

A month after player owned ports were released, the first piece of player owned ports armor was sold on the grand exchange.

According to the January 9, 2013 highest value list, a tetsu helm (degradable version) was traded by way of the grand exchange. The RuneScape player who elected to craft the degradable item probably got more than the listed trade price of one hundred million gold coins for it. The buyer, presumably a rich player who managed to have the lucky offer, now has a high level piece of armor that will last ten hours in combat before turning to dust.

It is assumed that player owned ports armor can be used with the dragon keepsake box, but this isn't confirmed.

A variety of scimshaws have also been traded via the grand exchange. Ranging from ten million to fourteen million coins for an item that lasts for three hours, one of at least all ten scimshaws have been traded.

It is unknown if these were selling above or below market value as of now, but they appear to have crashed. A test buy in the grand exchange shows a fourteen million value scimshaw buying at nine million and selling at six million, so RuneScape players have decided them to not be worth the money.
