Return home requires 20,000 morale and grants five chi, six if using a jade merchant. The best setup is morale ship, captain, four morale crew and a jade merchant. If playing it safe, use a fifth morale crewman. If sailing for speed, a judge of dice or bag of winds may be employed.
Smuggling job requires 11,500 morale and seafaring, rewarding RuneScape players with five ancient bones. Ideal setup is judge of dice and two crewmen of each trait; if using a merchant the captain and ship are variables that will balance stats. An oxhead and horseface will also balance stats as it is equal to a crewman on a two trait mission.
Umibozu, the giant of the sea requires 11,500 in combat and seafaring and grants 30 spices, 39 if using a jade merchant. Setup is the same as smuggling job, replacing morale units with combat ones.
Forty successful pincer voyages (33 if using jade merchant) are needed to gain a full set of superior armor. Two successful voyages are needed for a scimshaw.
