RuneScape: Jagex willing to consider adding old school (2007) servers

RuneScape has listened to the ongoing opinions of players and has taken measures to consider re-installing a separate group of servers that allow RuneScape players to play the 2007 version of RuneScape. The Feb. 13, 2013 announcement, reminiscent of the wilderness and free trade poll, allows RuneScape members to decide whether this is worth investing in.

That means RuneScape, without all the modern conveniences of the grand exchange, living rock caverns, dungeoneering, effigies, auras, squeal of fortune, and solomons. RuneScape players would be able to participate in old school trading, the general store will again be a useful part of the game, and the graphics of old such as trees that we grew up playing RuneScape with will once again be restored, allowing RuneScape players to relive the nostalgia of years long forgotten.

RuneScape will release a poll on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013. All paying members will then be allowed to vote in this poll. The amount of votes received in the next two weeks will determine the amount of time and money Jagex is willing to invest in this.
