Wickham Park, a 400-acre parcel of land, complete with lakes, beaches, and plenty of palms, is a popular choice for those seeking peace and solitude from their hectic schedules. But March 22 - 24, it will be anything but quiet as Runaway Country, a 3-day Country music extravaganza rolls into town.
Musical lineup
More than 17 musical performances are scheduled, with Grammy-award winning Lady Antebellum being the top draw. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. each day and the first show will begin at 1:00 p.m.

- Handicapped facilities are available
- Pets are allowed but must be on a leash
- There will be a security gate so be prepared
- Parking will not be free and passes may be purchased beforehand
- Cooking is allowed in the camping area
- Lawn chairs and personal cameras are allowed in the performance area
An estimated 25,000 attended the 2012 Runaway Country Music Fest and 2013 promises to be even bigger. Rob Varley, head of Space Coast Department of Tourism says, " This is one of the premier music events in Florida. Perfectly located; a straight shot down the Beachline from Orlando and an easy drive from Jacksonville and south Florida. "
To date, tickets have been sold to country music fans from around the world. According to the organizers, " We're extending a warm welcome to country music fans coming to join us from AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, UT, VA, VT, WA. We're also happy to welcome our friends from British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario, Canada. Tickets have also been sold to excited festival-goers coming all the way from Sweden, Germany, Italy, UK and Spain."
