The second annual Run with the royals 5K was held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Wolf Hill Park in Oceanport, N.J.
It was a cool crisp morning with sunny skies and temperatures in the low 40’s for the 9 a.m. start as the several hundred participants lined up.
The race was a benefit for the Saint James Athletic Association and there were many participants from Saint James Elementary School in Red Bank, N.J.
Coming in first for the men was Brian Hill 19:57. For the women it was Meagan Drapkin in 20:21.
In the 14 and under category the winner was Brian Hill Jr in a time of 22:16 and for the women it was Danielle Hayes in 23:21.

Awards were presented to the top finishers and the overall winners got to wear crowns making them king and queen for the day and true “Royals”.
Afer the race many participants retreated to the Post-Race Party at The Fixx, t in Red Bank.
