Run under the canopy of the Christmas spirit with the Carol of Lights Run

West Texas Endurance introduces another original event with the Carol of Lights Run to be held Sunday, December 9th. This is a night event, beginning at 6:30pm on the Tech campus with the opportunity to take in some of the 25,000 lights adorning campus this time of year. Events include a 1 mile run/walk and a 5k run. Tech fans should note the 5k participants get the unique opportunity to finish with a lap through Jones Stadium.
Online registration runs through Sunday, December 2nd with a cost of $15 for children 12 and under and $25 for all others. Registration includes a long-sleeved shirt. Packet pickup and late registration will be held at Cardinal’s Friday, December 7th from 4pm to 7pm and Saturday, December 8th from 1pm to 3pm.
With carolers along the course and hot chocolate at the finish line, this race is a great way to get in the holiday spirit. Toys and games will also be collected at the event for local charities.
