Sunday August 10, 2014, The Casino on Detroit’s Belle Isle Park was the locale for an amazing work out. Run This Town, a pop up exercise group traveling the Midwest bringing health and fitness, was in attendance supported by Hot 107.5. Led by trainer Armond Harris the fitness conscious members of Run This Town meet outside throughout the week to excerise and encourage each other and passersby’s to join in and become part of a healthier lifestyle. “Not my compeitior, but a better me.” Is what was being chanted as they explained that they are not in a competition to be better than the person next to them, only to be better person.
This event has an abundance of young ladies in attendance as they awaited the arrival of Trevor Jackson, whom you can learn more about on his official website, and Diggy Simmons to join the work out. Trevor and Diggy had already been involved in an array of promotional activities this day including a pool party in Chandler Park. The swarms of anxious youth were greeted by recording artist Zeus Irons, whom you can learn more about at ZeusIrons.com, who was fresh to death but definitely prepared to workout as he flexed his muscle fulfilling every new move.
After Run This Town got the crowed stretched and warmed up, Diggy Simmons and Trevor Jackson arrived to join in the workout fesivities. When Armond Harris said “You’re gonna sweat!” he meant it as everyone that worked out had a workout of a lifetime. After the workout was done and the energy was high they opened the meet and greet portion of the Run This Town Detroit event powered by Hot 107.5. They allowed the fans of these young pop stars to take photos and get hugs to remember this experience. At the end of the day everyone had fun with health and fitness as the backdrop.
