On Saturday, October 29, 2011 join the fun at 129 Fort Avenue (Soccer Field), Salem, MA at 8:00a.m. Parking is at 168 Fort Avenue.
This is the 3rd Annual Devils Chase 6.66 mile run. It is a special Halloween road race with fun times after the race.
You can register online up until Friday, October 28 at 4:00p.m. The fee is $35.00. The Devil's Chase will close at 2,000. Last year 1,400 people registered. There will be race day registration available. The first 1,300 registered runners will get a t-shirt.
There will be three winners in each of the following categories: under 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and up.
The first place male and female devil costume finishers will win a cash prize of $150.
There will be plenty of parking spots at Salem Willows where the race starts and finishes.
This year awards will go to 30 people wearing the best devil costumes. Devils beer, wine and other goodies will be awarded for creativity, detail and design. At 7:15 you can go to the B&S Fitness Canopy for judging. Awards will be given before the award ceremony at the end of the race.
Awards are also going to the top three runners with the best costumes. These awards are for the best Halloween Costumes. Please report to the B&S Fitness Canopy at 7:15am for judging. Awards will be given before the award ceremony at the end of the race.
