Run for a cause with the West Texas Running Club

Come out and support the Texas Boys Ranch Scholarship Fund as the West Texas Running Club hosts the Cotton Patch Run on Saturday, March 9th. With a 1-mile kids fun run for kids 4-12 and a 4-mile 2-person relay for kids 7-12, this is a great event for younger runners. Adults have the option of a 4-mile or a 14k race. Kids 10 and over are eligible for the full 4-mile race and kids 16 and over are eligible for the 14k.
The race begins at the Boys Ranch with the fun run at 9am. All other races will begin once that race is complete. The cost is $5 for running club members and children under 13 and $15 for non-members. Online registration runs through Thursday, March 7th at 6pm. There will be no race day registration. Packet pickup is prior to 8:30 on race day. Parking is limited, so plan on arriving early.
The 4-mile race is an out and back flat course while the 14k is a flat loop course. The wind can get strong on this course, but it’s still a great race.
These races couldn’t be put on without the help of volunteers. Whether you run or volunteer, I hope you can support this great cause.
