Boredom is a big factor in people’s fitness programs failing and some people need a little more motivation than others. If you are one of those people the FreeMotion 790 treadmill is a great tool. The 790 has an android touch tablet built in so you can surf the internet, check email, and watch videos. That is a cool feature but the I-fit programing with Google Maps really takes your mind off being inside.
Now most people would go outside if possible and keep a treadmill for days and times when they can’t. The Google maps feature allows you to chart a running or walking path anywhere Google goes in the world. Once you chart this rout you simply choose it in your I-fit account and away you go. This program will adjust the incline just as if you were on that road. In most cases it can show you a street level view showing a series of pictures. On Tuesday I can jog in Ireland, Wednesday in Spain, and Saturday I can run on Chicago’s beautiful lake front!
Did I mention the unit also has a high definition television built in? You can watch your favorite show on one screen and your running path on the other. Watching The Biggest Loser on your treadmill makes much more sense than watching it on your couch!
