On December 4, 2013, in Washington D.C., the fall report of the Rumsfeld Foundation was released. This Fellowship program is made up of young leaders from the Greater Central Asia and the Caucasus and is held in cooperation with John Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies’ Central Asia-Caucasus Institute. The fellows completed an intense six week program of research and high level meetings. The programs were held in Washington, D.C. from October 1, 2013 to November 9, 2013.
The Rumsfeld Foundation is broken down into four areas that they focus on which includes; supporting charities benefitting men and women of the U.S. Military and their families, graduate fellowships for U.S. students interested in serving the public, building linkages between young leaders from Greater Central Asia to the U.S. and global microfinance.
