Rumors swirl of fingerprint sensor coming with Apple's iPhone 6 (Photos)

The iPhone 5 from Apple hasn't been out but a couple months, but that doesn't mean everyone isn't already preparing and wondering about the iPhone 6. Huffington Post and others have revealed as of Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, that the next Apple iPhone could have a fingerprint detection sensor that makes the new technology generation even fresher.

Sources report that Apple is planing on introducing a built-in fingerprint sensor for its next generation of iPhone to be released later this year. While it could be called iPhone 6 or iPhone 5S, it is still predicted that the phone will have this new technology.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted numerous product launches from Apple in the past, and he fully expects the fingerprint sensor to be included on their next iPhone release.

Kuo says that Apple could attempt to keep its "minimalist design" by finding a way to conceal the fingerprint sensor in the home button of the next iPhone.

If one of Apple's competitors wishes to keep up, then they are going to have a lot of trouble keeping things as they are. Both Windows Phone and Android devices have more than one button below their display, and adding anything else could bulk things up.

These are just rumors for the new iPhone for now, that is expected to hit stores in the third quarter of this year, but they seem viable.
